should feel like home.
Megan grew up along this coast, so the Grand Strand is not a market she learned, it is home. Before real estate, she spent over a decade in education, including teaching first grade for Horry County Schools. That work still shapes how she does this one. She listens, she explains things clearly, and she never makes anyone feel silly for asking a question.
It also made her the kind of person who keeps a plan. Buying or selling a home involves more moving pieces than most people expect. Inspection deadlines, repair requests, appraisal timelines, closing documents. Megan holds all of them so her clients do not have to. Nothing sits unattended and nothing gets discovered at the last minute. What her clients get is a clear next step, every time.
At home, she and her husband Taylor are raising three children, two of them living with Type 1 diabetes. Years of advocating for her own kids taught her how to ask the hard questions and keep asking until someone answers. Her clients get that same person in their corner.
Megan is married to Teresa's son, Taylor. Yes, they still like each other.
Teresa grew up in Myrtle Beach, so like Megan, this coast is home rather than a market she picked up along the way. She got her start in a kindergarten classroom, back before a good friend talked her into a real estate license. That was back in 2006. The patience that a room full of five year olds requires never left her, and clients feel it. She does not rush people.
What two decades buys is the part you cannot shortcut. Teresa has worked this market hot, quiet, and everything in between. She is the negotiator on this team, and she knows what is worth pushing on and what is worth letting go. She also knows the people. The attorneys, lenders, inspectors, and HOA managers up and down this coast are folks she has worked alongside for years, and when something on a deal starts to wobble, she usually knows who to call before anyone else has noticed there is a problem.
Teresa and her husband Tim live in Murrells Inlet, close to the water she has loved her whole life. They have two grown sons, Taylor and Preston, and three grandchildren. That is really the lens she brings to this work. She treats every client like family, and anybody who has sat across the table from her knows she is not just saying it.
